Swimming With The Fishes

Jack and Molly started swimming lessons last week at the Yacht Club. Days 1 and 2 were sketchy but since "getting their toes wet" they have been doing great. Jack is doing "cannon balls" and Molly is putting her face in the water and blowing bubbles. Their swim teacher, Miss Katie, is fantastic with both of them.

Sophie and Macy had their 3 month visit with Miss Ruby, their Early Intervention Coordinator, and they are doing great. They have started slap fighting with each other and really let you know when they are angry with you. They are both REALLY close to walking and into everything. They make me laugh all the time. I'll post some more pix soon!

Summer Vacation Is Here

Well...everyone is officially out for summer, including me, and Jack and Molly are already at each other's throats! I decided that since this was Jack's last summer before he starts kindergarten that we would not schedule too much and just play and chill all summer. After 1 week with us all home together I think they are officially bored of Mommy and each other. Don't get me wrong they do play together nicely most of the time, but when they fight...they fight. At least they don't have smacking fights like Staci and I used to have! We do have swimming lessons starting next week which they are both excited about and our trip to Indiana in early July. I look more forward to August 15th every day :)

A few weekends ago we had a pizza party/trophy ceremony for Jack's t-ball team. John was "officially" voted as Head Coach next year. Jack absolutely thought his trophy was "AWESOME" as it is the biggest one he has gotten to date. Sophie and Macy had their first experience eating pizza that day as well.
Enjoy the pix!!
