1st Annual Bradford Birthday Carnival

April 2nd, a supremely windy day, marked the date of the 1st Annual Bradford Birthday Carnival.  Because ALL 4 of our children have March birthdays, John and I wised up this year and decided to start the tradition of having one big blow-out party.  After hours searching Oriental Trading for supplies and ideas, finding a great Bouncy House rental, and multiple trip to BJ's for extra stuff the party was a great success.  The 60 + kids LOVED it, and from what I hear, the parents did as well.  Thanks to all of my "Carnies" who helped with food, games, pictures, etc.  They included John's parents, my parents, Aunt Staci and M, Uncle Mark, Ms. Pamala, and Aunt Amy.  A special thank you Miss Amber (aka "Ms. Hammer) and Dustin for taking pictures and video.  I was too crazy to remember to take any pictures!  This first group of pictures is from Miss Amber, our beautiful babysitter.  More pictures to follow soon!

Enjoy and have a great day!!

Bitter Sweet

At 8:56 pm 4 years ago, I was quietly falling asleep in the hospital knowing that I would soon meet my twin baby girls.  While this was an exciting event, it was also quite scary as the girls were coming 10 weeks early as a result of Twin-To-Twin Transfusion Syndrome.  They were born March 23, 2007 at 7:45 and 7:46 pm weighing 3lbs 8oz, and 2lbs, 15oz.  Sophie Elizabeth and Macy Anne were tough little buggers and after a 5 week delux accomodation stay in the NICU we were able to bring them home and start our new normal as a family of 6.  As I write this I hear them up in their room chatting away about Barbi and such and it brings tears to my eyes.  I love the sweet, hilarious, outgoing and talented little girls they are becoming, but I SO miss my soft tiny little balls of baby love (I am truly crying my eyes out right now :)  ).  These 2 monkeys, or Boo and Peanut as they are affectionately know as, have completed our family and brought an immeasurable amount of joy to our lives.  I can't wait to see what they do next...

Some of my favorite pictures of the twins...enjoy

I Want One

My new dream puppy.  A red merle australian shepherd.  I want to get him and name him "Boomer" and hug him, and squeeze him, and call him my own!
